His Excellency Daniel Taub, the Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Court of St James, recently spoke to a small group of students taking the Master of Studies in Jewish Studies at the Centre, and the Centre’s Fellows. Ambassador Taub, a graduate of the University of Oxford and author of a book on Torah and Diplomacy, described how the weekly Torah portion illustrated strategies of negotiation and diplomacy. His engaging teaching style, deep knowledge of Jewish sources and discussion of diplomatic strategy made this a fascinating event.
