Modern Jewish Thought Seminar

This seminar series is held under the joint auspices of the Oxford Centre for Hebrew & Jewish Studies, the Faculty of Theology & Religion and the Centre for the Study of the Bible. It is designed to create a forum for considering recent developments in modern Jewish thought. In particular, these seminars are intended to provide a forum for discussing recently published books in the field.

Week 1, Monday 24 April at 4pm, hybrid session (Catherine Lewis Lecture Room, Clarendon Institute, and online)

Professor Miguel Vatter (Deakin University) will discuss his book, Living Law: Jewish Political Theology from Hermann Cohen to Hannah Arendt

This lecture will be a hybrid session which will be accessible both online (see below) and in person in the Catherine Lewis Lecture Room, Clarendon Institute, Oxford OX1 2HG.
