Manasseh ben Israel, Sefer Nishmat ḥayim
Amsterdam: Shmuʼel Abravanel Suʼero, 1652.

Several of Menasseh ben Israel's works were published by his son, Samuel ben Israel Abravanel Soeiro in Amsterdam. One of these was the Sefer Nishmat ḥayim, his treatise on the immortality of the soul. The engraved title page of the copy on display bears an ownership inscription by Hayim Toledano.
