Object 3. Photograph of James as a young man

Undated

Description:

James Loewe as a young man. On the back of the photograph are two addresses, the first is 36, New Broad Street, London, which is at the heart of the banking district where James worked. This is probably where the photograph is taken. James worked in this area first in 1877 for the Imperial Gas Association and then in 1891 worked again in the banking district.  The Second address, 80, Brondesbury Road in North London, is where the family lived for many years.

Second image of the photograph's verso - James' business card attached.
