Object 2. James Loewe's School Maths Book no. 2

c. 1870

Description:

He has folded each page in half and written notes on one side and drawn in ink on the other. This book appears to be a copy from a German textbook, like the other notebook. It is therefore possible that this book can also be dated to 1870. The notes begin ‘Von Parallelogrammen Erklärung’ (Explanation on Parallelograms). One of the ink drawings has been added to in pencil to create a man, perhaps this was done by one of his children or grandchildren.
