The Centre is able to offer to visiting scholars access to shared office space in its premises in the Clarendon Institute in central Oxford. Visiting scholars are encouraged to attend and participate in the academic activities of the University’s Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies, all of which are conducted in English. They may be invited to present a paper relating to their research, should a suitable opportunity arise.
The period of tenure for a Visiting Scholar of the University’s Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies is normally between two and six months and must include an Oxford University term. Exceptionally other periods may be considered. Visiting Scholars must hold a doctorate or equivalent status.
