David Ariel was appointed President of the Centre from October 2008. Prior to moving to the UK, he served as President of Siegal College of Jewish Studies (Cleveland, Ohio) for 25 years. He has lectured widely on Jewish subjects throughout North America, Israel, and the former Soviet Union and served as a consultant to universities, foundations and academic accrediting agencies.

Dr Ariel has written four books including Kabbalah: The Mystic Quest in Judaism and What do Jews Believe? The Spiritual Foundations of Judaism
